Gus DeQuesada is a 6' 1" , 195 lb right-hand pitcher for Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida. He is a Junior and the Ace of the pitching staff. Last season he led the team in ERA (0.79) the second lowest in class 6A in South Florida, strikeouts and saves.

Another up in coming pitcher in state this year is West Florida's left hander, Brett Lee. The 6'4", 180 lb. junior from Pensacola is coming off a solid sophomore campaign, where he threw 39 innings, had an ERA of 1.41, punched out 50 and only walked 11.

Sickles High School coach Bob Pagano, has to be excited to have his 1st team, all county, centerfielder returning for the 2008 season. Kenny Wilson had a big year in '07, hitting .389, with 6 triples, 5 doubles, 15 SB's, an OBP of .506, and a slugging percentage of .625. Kenny can go get it in the outfield, with his 6.4/60 time.
